help us continue to host this amazing Reading Competition at our school! The OBOB
program at Duniway is a hit each year. With 20+ Teams practicing and competing
together, last year 93 students participated! Any support or help is welcome. Please

    What is OBOB?

Oregon Battle of the Books at Duniway is a free state-wide reading competition for 3rd
through 5th Graders. Teams of 4 students work together to read and study 16 books on
the OBOB Book List and then face off in “Battles” against other teams to try and answer
the most questions about the books correctly. The Battles will take place in late January
and February of 2024. It is a fast-paced fun and friendly competition bracket, the final
Duniway Team standing gets to represent our school at Regionals with a chance to go
on to the State Competition! OBOB is a great opportunity to find some new favorite
books and bond over the love of reading with friends.
