Welcome to Duniway!

Whether you are a new or returning family, we know you will have a fantastic educational experience at our school.

The Duniway Foundation is composed solely of parent volunteers, who work throughout the year to raise much-needed dollars that allow our school to fund classroom teaching and assistant positions not funded by Portland Public Schools. With the funds raised in the 2023-2024 school year, Principal Rafferty was able to hire educational assistants to support every grade level, and a portion of an essential student support position.

For the 2024-2025 school year, the Duniway Foundation will ask you to participate in two key fundraising events:

• The Annual Fall Giving Campaign: 

With budget cuts across the district, Duniway continues to need our generous support. We encourage you to participate in the Duniway Foundation’s Annual Fall Giving Campaign, one of two major fundraisers that raise money for Duniway teaching and support positions not funded by Portland Public Schools.

• The Spring Duniway Auction: 

The 2025 Auction will be Duniway’s 26th Annual Auction. The Auction is Duniway’s biggest fundraiser of the year; please plan to join us for this incredibly important fundraiser to help enrich the educational lives of our students, and students across Portland Public Schools. Approximately one third (32%) of funds raised will go to The Fund for PPS, which benefits underserved students across the district. Let’s make a difference for our kids!
