Dancan Carranza, K x 12 Instructional Coach

I love to cook and love to host friends and parties.
My son is a second grader at the same school where my wife works as the school counselor.
I love having music on throughout the day and I believe there's a perfect playlist for everything.
I used to live in the apartments right across the street from MLC when I first moved to Portland 16 years ago.

Liz Dwan, ERC Teacher

My name is Liz D. and this is my 10th year working with 6-8th graders at MLC.  As a Learning Center teacher, I enjoy being able to work individually with students and having the opportunity to advocate for my students and their families. I have been an educator for over 20 years and have taught from birth to adulthood! I am a parent of four (all former MLC students!). I am originally from Seattle but have called Portland home for 20+ years. I enjoy being outside, going on road-trips, eating tasty foods (but not cooking!) and spending time with friends and family (including my two cats).
