Favorite school memory as a student:

My favorite memory is from middle school/ high school when I had Home Economics and learned how to cook many different things. That stuck with me forever and helped me become independent. 

My “why” for being in public education:

Everyone should be able to have a safe place to learn. I love to connect with students and give them the motivation to do the best they can. 

What I do to unwind and recharge:

I read scary books, tend to my garden, and sew quilts. I love playing with my cat Yukon, she brings me tons of joy!
