If you know anything about SUN, you probably know we have after-school and summer classes for Peninsula students. You may not know that we also provide social service support for Peninsula families, including rent assistance, energy assistance, help finding a job, and access to food and clothing. The goal is to keep kids in school and remove barriers to learning.
Self Enhancement Inc. is the non-profit agency that operates the Peninsula SUN School and provides the first line of social service support. If you find your family in need of assistance, please contact Alea at 503-975-4770. All assistance requests are confidential.
Classes are Monday through Thursday (No classes Friday) and are open to grades 1-5. Participation is FREE!
Class is placement done by lottery and is not guaranteed. We try to place students in classes for two days a week before students get a third or fourth day.
