Allergy Information
PPS Nutrition Services provides menu information with carbohydrate counts and the following major allergens which are required by federal labeling laws: milk, eggs, fish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat/gluten, and soybeans. This menu information will allow users to better understand the nutritional content of the foods available. The information is correct to the best of our knowledge, and is provided from manufacturers’ labels and PPS Nutrition Services recipes. Manufacturers and distributors may change ingredients or substitute products without warning. It is not the intent of Nutrition Services to provide specific nutrition information for medical use. Harvest of the Month
Harvest of the Month is a Farm to School Program that introduces students to great local fruits and vegetables. Eat local watermelons from Hermiston, Oregon every Thursday in September 2021.

Local Lunch Days
Over 32% of our food purchases come from local farmers and producers. These “local flavors” bring the region’s great products to the students of Portland Public Schools.

IMPORTANT 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR INFORMATION: Due to a national waiver, students are eligible to receive one complete breakfast and one complete lunch per school day at no cost.
Milk can be purchased for $.50 since it is not a reimbursable meal.

Free or Reduced-Priced Meals

How do I apply to receive free or reduced-price meals?
Submit a family application at the beginning of each school year. If your household meets the eligibility guidelines, your child(ren) will be approved for free or reduced-price meals.
Families may apply online or get an application from the school office or cafeteria.
