The Sustainable Agriculture CTE program at McDaniel is aligned with the horticulture program at Clackamas Community College. Intro to Sustainable Agriculture and Urban Farming curriculum are each matched to the curriculum for two courses at the community college. Students at McDaniel can receive college credits for $10 per credit. This fee is waived if students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
- Complete one year of Intro to Sustainable Agriculture and earn 6 college credits
- Complete one year of Urban Farming and earn 4 college credits
- Complete four classes (Biology, Intro to Sustainable Agriculture, Urban Farming, AP Environmental Science), and a Senior Capstone Project completed your second year, and receive a Sustainable Agriculture Endorsement and a neon cord to wear at graduation.
