He works with the College and Career Centers to support the programming for students. Further, he has successfully grown Lincoln's CTE program, along with the support of staff, to add Audio Engineering, Construction and Education to the portfolio of Lincoln's Career and Technical Education offerings. Chris provides continuous support to all students and teachers in technology use and professional development. Chris is student-centered and aims to work to develop solutions that support all learners at Lincoln. His overall goal is to make existing and new systems at Lincoln as efficient and successful as possible.
A native of Southampton, Massachusetts, Chris spent seven years as a math and business educator at Benjamin Franklin High School in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to that, Chris worked for Academy of the City Charter School in Queens, NYC and served on the board of the Open School Foundation, also in Queens. Chris holds his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Bryant University and his Master’s in School Leadership from Indiana University-Bloomington and is a current Doctoral Candidate at the University of Kentucky.
While in Baltimore, Chris led the Varsity track and field program at Ben Franklin for all seven years and served as the director of high school track and field for all Baltimore high schools for three years. As a former Division 1 track and field athlete, Chris was able to guide a successful program that saw athletes reach state championships each year. Chris works with the Lincoln track and field program as a volunteer jumps coach.
Outside of education, Chris is an avid hiker and golfer. Chris enjoys spending time exploring Portland with his wife (and Lincoln alum) Katie and their poodle Pretzel.
