Background: I started my career as a middle school English teacher and coach at McDonogh School in Maryland. I have worked at University of Portland as an adjunct professor in business (finance, cross-cultural management, leadership) and I worked in business for 27 years. I have many years of experience on public company and non-profit boards and bring "real world" experience to our business students. This is my fourth year teaching at Lincoln.
This Year: For 2018-2019 I am teaching classes in Urban Exploration, Freshman Leadership & Inquiry, Business Communication, Academic Center, Introduction to Marketing and Introduction of Personal Finance. Business Communication and Intro to Personal Finance are dual credit classes with the Portland State University. These classes add to others I have taught at Lincoln including Creative Writing, Media Studies, and Accounting.
Other: I serve as a coach on the Lincoln wrestling team, and advisor for the National Honor Society, the Interact Club, CommuniCare Club, Cards Cook, and O.W.L.
