Students who did not have a photo taken by Lifetouch can now submit their photograph electronically. This photo will become the student's yearbook photo and ID card/HopPass photo.
When we return to in person learning students will be able to go to room 104 to have a Student ID printed. Any student with an immediate need for an ID with a Trimet Pass please email Jennifer Herbst at email@example.com after submitting a photo to the portal; she will see that a pass gets mailed to you.

To ensure a safe and appropriate learning environment, we expect all students to abide by behavioral expectations that we would likewise expect if students were attending class in person. Additionally, we expect appropriate online conduct at all times for school-related meetings and work, including adherence to the following expectations:
· Do not share the Google Hangout/Meet or any videoconferencing URL that is created by a teacher or the school.
· Do not attend any school-related Google Hangout/Meet or any videoconferencing to which you have not been invited.
· Use academically-appropriate language during all school activities and communications.
· Behave appropriately and respectfully while participating in synchronous and asynchronous remote learning activities.
· Be aware of the environment from which you are participating during video conferencing (e.g., do not display inappropriate items/images in the foreground or background).
· Dress appropriately for online video conferences.
Students who violate appropriate technology use expectations during this period of distance learning, as they would in the traditional school setting, will receive disciplinary consequences. Student safety remains our top priority. Bullying or hate speech including racist, sexist, classist, homophobic, or xenophobic attacks will not be tolerated. Dear PPS Families,
We want to update you on the Enrollment and Program Balancing (EPB) progress. As we’ve shared, the initial work focuses on schools in Southeast Portland in anticipation of the reopening of Kellogg Middle School. The Southeast Guiding Coalition has held six meetings aimed at creating a common understanding of the Coalition’s charge and the process for developing proposals and a final recommendation. The process is starting with a focus on grades 6-8 now, and will expand to grades PK-12 next spring.

We are now several weeks into Comprehensive Distance Learning, and simultaneously working on the next phases of a gradual re-opening of schools. PPS remains focused on published health metrics from the county and state and our medical experts. We also continue to observe Oregon Department of Education guidelines as we contemplate introducing limited in-person opportunities. While we are anxious to have all of our students back on campus, we will proceed in a measured and prudent manner that prioritizes the health and safety of our students and employees.
