College & Career Readiness: Every Age, Every Student

The 482 million dollar School Building Improvement Bond is not just about creating 21st century schools. It’s also about providing great learning opportunities for students. From career fairs to internships, the firms performing the Bond work are dedicated to helping PPS students learn about real world career opportunities in the design, construction, and project management fields.

The Bond contractors' student engagement work supports the District goal that all PPS students graduate with an informed plan to navigate their next steps for college and career by providing opportunities for:
  • Exposure to career related learning activities
  • Project-based, hands-on learning of 21st Century technical skills in Career & Technical Education (CTE) Programs of Study
  • Experiential learning that is connected to real-world applications
