Office of
Student Support Services

  • Learning is social, emotional, and academic. Healing centered school communities are physically and psychologically safe and secure, support conflict resolution with restorative practices and create identity-safe and positive school climates. Students thrive when they are healthy and safe, academically achieving, learning in classrooms designed to motivate and engage them while supporting their self-confidence to persevere and succeed.

The Departments within the Office of Student Support Services lead schools to establish student centered systems of support that enable students to thrive in academic and social-emotional learning.

Through advocacy, collaboration, and skill-building, Student Support Services institutes practices centering a neighborhood/community focus, inclusive of all races, identities, cultures, abilities and needs fostering the well-being of students and communities.

Our Role, Our Work, Our Children: Empowering students to be who they were born to be.
