Wilson High School is one of 6 Portland Public Schools that received facility improvements during the summer of 2013. This work is the first step in an 8-year $482 million school building improvement bond that will improve as many as 67 schools in the district.

- New roofing consisting of insulation, skylights, rooftop mechanical and roofing materials.
- Roof level seismic improvements
- Accessibility improvements to the life skills classroom

The construction work at Wilson was substantially completed before the start of school on September 4th. Wilson’s expansive roof covers 3 acres – the roof project was completed within one summer instead of the projected two.
All the summer Bond work was completed on time and on budget.
