    The mission of Multnomah County Developmental Disabilities Services Division (DDSD) is to promote full inclusion of individuals with developmental disabilities within the community so they are able to experience personal growth and development, enjoy meaningful relationships and fully participate in activities and communities of their choice.

    FACT Oregon

    FACT is a family leadership organization based in Oregon for individuals and their families experiencing disability, working collaboratively to facilitate positive change in policies, systems, and attitudes, through family support, advocacy, and partnerships.

    RISE is a nonprofit organization that specializes in home and community-based support services for children and adults with developmental and other disabilities, children with mental health challenges, and aging adults. 

    Our services are as varied as the people we support. Those supports include supporting people in daily living activities, providing companionship, accompanying them to community events, teaching them skills, supporting or customizing employment, and much more.

    Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

    The  Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program pays benefits to disabled adults and  children who have limited income and resources.

    Resource for people with disabilities who need help starting a Social Security disability application. Non-attorney representatives with a mission to get disability applications approved quickly and avoiding the multi-year appeal process whenever possible.

    Oregon’s designated Protection & Advocacy (P&A) System. DRO works to uphold the legal rights of people with disabilities. DRO promotes Opportunity, Access and Choice for individuals with disabilities. They assist with legal problems directly related to disabilities.
