Day of Silence
The Day of Silence is a student-led day of action in April when concerned students, from middle school through college, take a vow of silence to address the problem of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment.
Ally Week is a week during which students organize events that serve to identify, support and celebrate those who are Allies against anti-LGBT language, bullying and harassment in our schools.
This organization provides an extensive array of resources for Gay Straight Alliances.
Oregon GSA Network
The Oregon Gay-Straight Alliance Network is a youth-led organization that connects school-based Gay-Straight Alliances (GSAs) around the state to each other and community resources. Through peer support, leadership development, and training, GSA Network supports young people in starting, strengthening, and sustaining GSAs.
