Amy Durham

Amy Durham is a Spanish teacher. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, a certificate in teaching English as a second language, and a Master’s degree in Education. She was born in Eugene and grew up in Portland. Durham has been teaching for 19 years (12 of them at Wells) and has also taught at Grant High School and Jefferson High School. Outside of teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and baking, knitting, biking, running, gardening, and Latin music & dance. Her favorite music artist is Juanes. She has a daughter in seventh grade, as well as two dogs, eight chickens and a guinea pig. Durham looks forward to seeing students excited about learning global citizenship skills.
