Evan Price
Evan Price is a Special Education/Learning Center teacher here at Ida B. Wells High School. He is from Middletown, Maryland and went to Appalachian State in North Carolina, where he got his undergrad, and went to PSU, where he got his master's degree in Teaching. Before teaching, he was a cook and a baker and he worked at a restaurant at the Portland airport called “Capers Cafe”. He moved here to Portland in 2009 and started teaching for the first time here at Wells in 2012. As of 2021, this is his ninth year teaching here at Wells. Price enjoys working with students, in particular, working with students who might need a little bit of extra support. He also enjoys that he can work on several different subjects with his students. Price is excited to see students again and wants his students to know that he is here for them when they need support and help with school. In his free time he plays softball, basketball, video games, Dungeons and Dragons and has recently started golfing.
