Kenneth Muraoka

Kenneth Muraoka (Murr-OH-Kah) has a large history of moving around states. He was born in Wyoming, grew up in El Dorado Hills, California, enrolled in an undergraduate program in Montana, and earned his master’s in teaching at Concordia University in Oregon. By combining his love for business, marketing, and teaching he’s become one of the only business teachers at Ida B. Wells, head leader of the award-winning DECA team which has and club advisor for the Reel Anglers fishing club. However, his string of leadership does not end there, in his free time he coaches his son's baseball team and is a father of two. To relieve himself from his stressors he enjoys golfing and eating at various restaurants in the Portland area. Currently, his favorite restaurant to visit is Arden in the Pearl District. For many years, it was known as Beast until the owner tragically passed away;  Muraoka was in attendance at her last dinner among her loving patrons. “You always talked about being a teacher; why not just be a teacher? Let’s see what it takes” said Muraoka.
