1. You have a hole in your schedule (not having a 2nd period, for example).
2. You were placed in the wrong level of a class (English 1-2 instead of 3-4 for example).
3. You are missing a graduation requirement.
EXCEPTION #1: Seniors, do you want to drop a class for early release or late arrival? If so, you may submit a request prior to September 8th.
EXCEPTION #2: Are you a 10th, 11th or 12th grader who wants to add a TA (Teacher Assistant/Peer Mentor/Peer Tutor/Lab Assistant period)? You may submit these requests on this form--with the permission of the teacher you'll be working with during that period. *There is a form that must be filled out as well and you must obtain the signature of the teacher you are TAing for and then turn the form in to your counselor.*
Starting Thursday, September 4th counselors will post a list of courses (in the main office) that still have space/availability if you would like to change an elective. Students must see their counselor in person--before school, at lunch, and after school--to make these changes.
We are not taking any requests via email; these requests will be disregarded. We have bolded "requests" because we have built a schedule and hired staff based on your requests and forecasting selections. For this process to be meaningful and effective, we all need to make thoughtful selections and honor our commitments.
Friday, September 19th is the last day to drop a class without a grade penalty. A "WF" Withdraw Fail will be issued after this date.
