Brian Sahler
Brian Sahler is a math teacher at Ida B. Wells. He teaches Geometry, AP Stats, and Pre-Calculus. He grew up in western New York near the Finger Lakes region and stayed in New York to go to college at Hamilton College where he double majored in math and economics. He has been teaching at Ida B. Wells for 19 years and has 22 years total of teaching experience. Before he was a teacher, Sahler worked for two years as a real estate agent and two years as an economic analyst. He switched to teaching because “The part of my previous jobs that I liked best were the parts of my jobs where I was teaching.” In his free time he enjoys spending time outside, particularly hiking, skiing, and fishing.
