• Talented and Gifted (TAG)

    "A gifted person is someone who shows, or has the potential for showing, an exceptional level of performance in one or more areas of expression: intellectual, math, or reading."

     

    The TAG Nomination/Permission Forms and the fall window Whole Grade Acceleration Applications are now available HERE!

    Please be sure to read the educator’s guides and provide the parent guides to families when applicable. The request for translations of these forms and parent guides has been submitted and they will be uploaded as soon as they are available.

    If you have any questions about TAG at Chapman or Chapman @ the Ramona, your first contact should be with your child's teacher. They are ready & willing to answer your academic questions concerning your child. If you have questions that are not addressed here, or answered by your child's teacher, please contact Karen Ritzinger.

    TAG Nomination Process

    TAG Nominations: 

    Teachers or parents can submit an IDPF form to nominate a student for TAG.

    TAG Testing Window: TBD

    ONLY students who had completed IDPF forms given to classroom teachers by the deadline will be tested. TAG testing will be done at Chapman or Chapman @ the Ramona. If you nominated your child, please make sure they are present on all days of the testing window.
