PPS Natural Resources Program's Wildlife Cameras

Whitaker Ponds Wild! 

With the help of the Columbia Slough Watershed Council, the Natural Resources program at Alliance High School set wildlife trail cameras throughout the park to observe the wildlife in their natural habitat. 

Students captured some incredible footage of the wildlife that make their homes at Whitaker Ponds and the greater Columbia Slough. 

Check out the beavers (even a baby beaver!), river otters, coyotes, Great Blue Herons, Steller's Jays, Western Painted turtles and more!
