  • NeighborhoodLIFT Down Payment Assistance program available for PPS staff

    Portland Housing Center is once again administering the NeighborhoodLIFT® Down Payment Assistance (DPA) program. The program provides a $20,000 down payment assistance grant for eligible first time homebuyers and a $22,500 down payment assistance grant for all FRMT (First Responder, Military, and Teachers) eligible homebuyers who are purchasing a home within Multnomah County and the city of Portland. A community meeting about the program is scheduled for Wednesday, November 20, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Embassy Suites Portland Airport (7900 N.E. 82nd Ave., 97220).   • PPS Voucher Program: Enter lottery for 2020 winter term reduced-tuition credits

    If you have been thinking about taking a college course in person or online, take advantage of this opportunity and enter the lottery to take a course at Portland State University during the 2020 winter term. Winter term classes start January 6, 2020. To submit your name in the lottery, please complete the following form as soon as possible: Winter 2020 Lottery. The lottery closes Wednesday, November 20, at 5:00 p.m. You will be notified by November 27 if you are selected to receive a voucher.
