Water Quality

  • In 2016 Portland Public Schools contracted with TRC Solutions and state-certified labs to complete district-wide water testing of every cold water fixture in all PPS buildings. Results are listed by school in the 2016 Results column below. Watch the 2017/2018 Results column for test results conducted after water fixture replacement. Results will be added as the project progresses.

The 2017/2018 results represent the replacement of only the drinking fixtures and kitchen fixtures used for food preparation. This is because use of all other water fixtures for handwashing, showering, etc. is a safe practice (see link below). http://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/HealthyEnvironments/DrinkingWater/Monitoring/Documents/health/lead.pdf
