The mission of Portland Public Schools Custodial Services Department is to enhance the learning environment of our students by providing facilities that are clean, safe and well managed, resulting in every school receiving a high level of customer service, excellent care and support.
The Facility Services department (or FS) is responsible for 94 General Fund buildings (those buildings that receive funding for operations from Portland Public Schools through the state of Oregon). Facility Services is a two-shift operation that covers 9,193,868 gross square feet of space. Each school is divided into sections throughout the city referred to as clusters.
